Hunter Veterinary Clinic

I am writing this review due to my experience with Rachel in reception at hunter vet clinic only… all the vets Dr. shrag Mr. And Mrs. Dr. Fielding and the few vet techs and other receptionists I’ve spoken to are amazing …Rachel however is rude, condescending, interrupts, doesn’t listen and is out right just awful. I’m unsure with the amount of one star reviews. I have seen complaining about her why she still has a job in this establishment or has not had extensive extra training due to the fact that she is incredibly rude! There have been many times where I have had to talk to her to get a message to one of the doctors that I am seeing, The majority of the time the message is relayed incorrectly so then I am getting incorrect information back. I have had to make actual vet appointments to go speak to the Vet about questions I have due to the fact that she does not listen. Every time I have been into the vet and seen her behind the counter, she has been rude, Her tone, Her body language, The way that she looks at you, I absolutely love, Hunter Vet, But sadly, I will be looking for Vet care elsewhere because I cannot continue Dealing with a place who employ somebody at their front desk who acts this way to people! Even asking a simple question she makes you feel stupid. I would call upon Dr. Shrag To look into the way that Rachel speaks to people and deals with people and get her extensive training or tell her that she needs to find a job elsewhere because you are going to continually lose clients due to the fact that your receptionist is absolutely horrible To people I want nothing more than to stay with this veterinary clinic. I have been with them for many years, but because of Rachel, I will be leaving. If I could leave a zero star review because of Rachel, I would

Their scheduling flexibility is really bad even if you ask to schedule further out.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Hunter Veterinary Clinic. I had to cancel my dog’s appointment and gave them a full day’s notice, yet I was told that going forward I would be required to pay a deposit for appointments. I understand that veterinary clinics have policies regarding missed appointments and last-minute cancellations, but I feel that giving a full days notice should be considered reasonable and should not result in being penalized with a deposit requirement. I’ve already spent a significant amount of money on my dog’s veterinary care here over the years, so being told I now have to pay deposits simply because I needed to cancel an appointment with a day’s notice was frustrating and felt unnecessarily punitive. I expected more understanding and flexibility from a veterinary clinic, especially when I made the effort to provide advance notice. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether I want to continue bringing my dog here.
